Some of the levels are so huge you have no way of knowing if you have explored them all. I think it's a gameplay idea that put in there where you need to explore. I agree that being able to scroll and look at areas would be awesome. There is a power up that allows you to Jump to a certain area of the map. Many times I have completed the level and didn't get the bonus because I was off but one tile or a few resources. It will tell you when are have completed it but it would be nice to know how many tiles are left to uncover, how many resources are needed, or whatever the goal it. Being able to select a level to play would be nice.Īfter playing more another nice thing would be able to see the status of the current level bonus objective. A simple dialog box is all the is needed and a way to quite once you are ready to leave a level. Now I make sure I have one left until I'm done with whatever I want to do on the level. I have ended it so many times by mistake. It would be nice if you could continue playing after getting the last rune. Probably necessary items for a side-quest. Instead, whatever was in those chests is gone forever. With a warning upon trying to pick up that last piece (or even that there was only one rune missing) and with the ability to scroll, I could have looked over my cleared areas again to double-check. I never saw any chests (even off the edges, and nothing on the mini-map). According to the stats, I'd cleared all the special tiles, but had missed both chests (and I'm pretty sure I had both keys). Thinking that would be OK since there are 5 rune slots, I went back and got it. I'd gotten to a point where I couldn't see anything else to do except grab the 4th rune. It's hard to see things on the mini-map, so being able to scroll around might let us avoid missing things.ĮDIT: For instance, I just finished level 11 (I think). And, while I'm here, my next biggest issue is that we can't just scroll around the areas we've explored (just to look at, not to play there). Failing that, just being able to continue playing after picking up the rune would be nice. But, a notification that picking up that rune will end the level would be really helpful. Yes, being able to immediately replay a level would be nice.
